Overview
Keenpipe (“Keenpipe”, “we”, “us”) makes software that helps businesses find potential customers and send them outreach. This policy covers two kinds of personal data: your data as a customer, and the business contact data we help you gather about the people you want to reach.
For your account data we are the data controller. For the outreach you build and send, you are the controller and we act on your instructions.
What we collect
- Account — your name, work email, company, role, a hashed password, and your settings.
- Billing — your plan and a payment token held by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
- Your inputs — the pages of your website we read, the search briefs you write, the drafts we generate, and the messages you approve, edit or reject.
- Connected accounts — discovery runs in a browser you have already signed in to; your LinkedIn password stays on your device and we never receive it. Email sends from your own mailbox using credentials you provide, which we store encrypted.
- Usage — log data, device and browser information, IP address, and diagnostics.
- Messages to us — support requests and anything you send with them.
Cookies. Our site uses a few essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus privacy-friendly analytics to measure traffic. We do not run advertising trackers. You can control cookies in your browser.
AI. To read your site and write drafts we use automated language models, including trusted third-party providers acting as our processors. We do not allow them to use your content to train their models, and we do not use your content to train models of our own.
Data about the people you reach
To build your prospect lists we collect business contact details about people in their professional capacity — name, job title, employer, business email, business phone, public profile and company information — from public and commercial sources such as company websites, LinkedIn and Google Maps.
We use it only to assemble and verify the leads you asked for and to let you contact those people about your product. If you are one of those people and want your details corrected or removed, email us at the address below and we will act on it and pass the request to the relevant customer where we can identify them.
How we use it
- run and support the service;
- read your site, find and score leads, and generate outreach drafts;
- take payment and manage your subscription;
- keep the service secure and prevent abuse;
- meet our legal obligations; and
- improve the product, using aggregated or de-identified data where we can.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing a business service and enabling lawful B2B outreach, your consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations.
Keeping and protecting data
We keep account and billing data while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Lead data and generated content stay while they are in your account; you can delete them at any time, and we remove them within 30 days of account closure, aside from backups that expire on a rolling basis. Logs are kept for a limited period.
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You have an absolute right to tell us to stop using your data for direct marketing. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have similar rights, including to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal data — though we do not sell or share it in that sense.
Account and lead data can also be exported and deleted from inside the product. To make a request, email us at the address below. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Keenpipe is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 16.
